The most annoying thing about travelling/relocating is: PACKING.

Current packing progress: 30%…..ish?

No matter how often I’ve been doing this in the past 6 years, I still hate packing so much. Every time I have to pack my stuff, I would be cursing so much, cursing those time when I just couldn’t control myself and bought so many things, leading to all these stuff accumulating in my room and causing me all this pain trying to pack them all up.

Worse thing is, this time I wouldn’t have the luxury I used to have back then in Singapore: storage room. Now I’ve got to pack everything, pack my whole life into 2 big suitcases, 2 lockers, and one hand carry bag.

Ok, no point complaining. I’ve gotta do this anyway. And soon, in exactly one week from now, I’ll be in PARIS. WHEEEEEEE!

First Post! Teehee~ :D those are all the Christmas presents I got this year! :D

For the past 6 years, I’ve been sort of a nomad. I left Indo in late 2005 to stay in Singapore, then moved to Beijing, to Hong Kong, and soon to France. In every place, I’ve met a lot of people, made a lot of friends.

My best friend, Vi, told me that the bad thing about moving to too many places is that you don’t really have a “home” to go back to. It’s kind of true, ‘cos my family is in Indo, but I hardly have any friends in Indo. Most of my friends are in Singapore, but I rarely see them. Nevertheless, I don’t regret any of my decisions so far. I’ve met a lot of people, said lots of “hello”s and “goodbye”s. People do come and go and some friendships/relationships do get washed away by distance and time. But I’ve learnt to accept that fact and discovered that what Eleanor Roosevelt once said is indeed true, “Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart”. (:

This Christmas I want to especially thank God for all my close friends, wherever they are. For those people who never failed to be by my side, laughing and crying with me through everything. I wanna thank God for Mami Vi, Putu, Phraveen, Vero, Wei Wei, and Pei En. For each and everyone of them (:

I’m gonna meet a lot more people in France, for sure, but these people, they will forever stay in my heart and mind, whenever and wherever we may be. (:
